About

For the past 32 years, Chi Omega Sorority has hosted the largest Greek philanthropic event on the Texas A&M campus. Songfest, a variety show representing over 20 Aggie student organizations, combines music, dancing, and skit performances in a fun-filled evening of competition. Each year, an audience of aproximately 5,000 members is treated to an incomparable spectical of talent and entertainment. Most importantly, the two performances of Songfest in Rudder Auditorium are truly an embodiment of the Aggie Family's committment to bettering our community. All funds raised by Songfest make a significant impact on the lives of children and adults who are struggling with physical challenges. Last year, over $70,000 in Songfest proceeds were given to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Brazos Valley Rehabilitation Center. Also, as a surprise to the acts and the audience, each organization that participated in Songfest 2009 received $2,000 dollars toward their philanthropy as a thank you for participating in Songfest! The organizations are what make Songfest the success it has become, and Chi Omega is very grateful for all the effort, time, and energy these organizations put forth!

Songfest 2010 is scheduled to be held on:

December 3th & 4th in Rudder Auditorium

The show will begin at 7:00pm both nights.

The Silent Auction will begin 6:00pm on Saturday night and conclude during intermission.
