Recruitment

Dear Potential New Members,

At such a large university like Texas A&M, adjusting to the new collegiate life can sometimes be overwhelming. Going through Recruitment and joining a sorority provides unforgettable memories, an enriched college experience, campus involvement and friendships that truly last a lifetime.

When I went through Recruitment, I immediately felt welcome and at home in the Chi Omega house. That is exactly what Chi Omega has become for me: my home away from home. My friends here really have become my family. I am beyond blessed to have the friendships I have found through Chi Omega and cannot imagine my college years without them!

During Recruitment, we try to share a glimpse of what Chi Omega is at Texas A&M: we have a heart for service, pride in our academics, and genuine friendships. We hope you feel just as welcome at our house during Recruitment as we did when we were in your shoes! Recruitment is definitely an exciting time in your life, and we are thrilled to get to share it with you!

Why Chi Omega?

Chi Omegas are leaders amongst leaders. Not only does Chi Omega's national grade point rank highest amongst every other sorority's national average, but it also exceeds the national all women's GPA, making Chi Omegas stand out amongst Greeks and non Greeks alike.

By joining Chi Omega, you join the largest women's fraternal organization. This network of over 171 chapters and over 300,000 initiated members is an amazing resource throughout college and after graduation. Here at A&M, when we refer to our fellow Chi Omegas as sisters, we mean it. The Chi Omega house is a home away from home in a new and ever changing environment.
